Proper Hat Fit
Let's get into some "Real Hat" education...
I get a lot of questions about hat sizing and if all hats are one size fit all. I want to share that handmade hats are a personal experience that involves you measuring your head to get a quality hat made to fit your measurements.
The size of the block used for making the hat corresponds to the head size of the wearer's head. This is another reason why measurements are important. Be sure to double check the hat size guide and your measurements when purchasing.
PROPER FITTING:
The hat should sit comfortably mid-forehead above your eyebrows and not obstruct your view. The sweatband inside the hat should provide a snug fit, not a tight fit. Pick a looser-fitting hat, if you feel any tension, end up with deep red marks on your forehead, or the brim is curls up instead of lying flat (when wearing a flat brim hat).
When it comes to YOUR perfect fit, does one size fit all work for you?
